Q: How do I sell with VicMart?
A: Easy. You just need a couple of minutes to register as a VicMart Seller and when you complete the process, you are ready to start selling. To start the Registration process you must choose the Register To Sell option from the top menu bar situated at the main page. After purchasing Seller Packages (SP) for your VicMart's Account,  you just have to choose the List / Sell New Items option from your Seller Admin menu and you are ready to sell your item(s) by entering all necessary details in the provided form.
 
Q: How do I get credits into my VicMart's Account?
A: You should enter the Seller Admin menu from the main page by entering your VicMart username / nick and previously chosen password. When you actually enter your Seller Admin menu you will see as first option a Section on purchasing different types of Seller Packages (SP). Depending on the number of items or their value, you may need a cheaper or more expensive Seller Package (SP). The purchase link will lead you through an online payment form, where your credit card will be charges with the desired sum for a SP and the sum will be credited to your VicMart account as VicMart credits.
 
Q: What's a Seller Package (SP)?
A: A Seller Package (SP) is a sort of a credit coupon that every VicMart Seller must buy in order to actually start selling own items in the VicMart store. The sum of the Seller Package SP is credited to your VicMart account and all VicMart listing and image hosting fees are then subtracted from this account. You can buy Seller Packages as many times as you wish or need in order to cover your VicMart fees.
 
Q: For how long is an item listed for sale at VicMart's store?
A: For an exactly 30 days period.
 
Q: How much does VicMart charge for listing an item for sale?
A: Item listing fees cover 30 days period while your item is listed and active. After your item is deactivated or if you delete it, you will have to relist the item and the eventually hosted by VicMart image again. A new fee(s) will be applied in such case.
VicMart's item Listing Fees are based on each item's price:
From $0 to $10.00 - $0.25 fee
From $10.01 to $50.00 - $0.35 fee
From $50.01 to $100.00 - $0.50 fee
From $100.01 to $250.00 - $0.75 fee
From $250.01 to $500.00 - $1.00 fee
From $500.01 to $1000.00 - $2.00 fee
From $1000.01 to $2000.00 - $3.00 fee
From $2000.01 to $5000.00 - $5.00 fee
From $5000.01 to $10000.00 - $8.00 fee
From $10000.01 and above price - $10.00 fee
 
Q: Do I get charged additionally for actually selling an item?
A: NO - no further charges! You are charged only with listing fees when you put up your item for sale with us.
 
Q: Can I host my item pictures at VicMart's Server?
A: YES. Images of items for sale can be hosted at VicMart's Server for a 30 day period and special hosting fee will be applied depending on image size. Only GIF and JPG images are accepted.
 
Q: How much does VicMart charge for hosting my images?
A: Image hosting fees cover 30 days period while your item is listed and active. After your item is deactivated or if you delete it, you will have to resubmit the item's image  again and a new fee will be applied in such case. Hosting fees depend on image size.
VicMart's item Image Hosting Fees based on image size are as follows:
up to 100k image - $0.25 fee
100k - 250k image - $0.42 fee
250k - 500k image - $0.65 fee
500k - 750k image - $0.95 fee
750k - 1 Meg image - $1.20 fee
IMPORTANT: Images above 1 Megabyte size will not be allowed and hosted.
 
Q: Are there items prohibited for sale at VicMart's store?
A: Although we consider ourselves open to all kinds of products, we will not allow the sale of illegal, strictly prohibited by government agencies or other types of criminal material. Such listed items will be deleted without notice and fees will not be refunded to Seller!
 
Q: Some of my items listed at VicMart expired. Can I relist them?
A: Easily. Just enter your Seller Admin menu and use the Relist Items option.
 
Q: Can I edit my items while they are listed at VicMart?
A: YES, but you will be only allowed to edit their title and / or description. You can do that by choosing the Edit Items options from your Seller Admin menu.
 
Q: Can I see how I'm doing with my VicMart's Account?
A: No problem - just click on the Check My Account option from your Seller Admin menu and you will see all your recent transactions that went through your VicMart's account.
 
Q: How do I actually SELL the item to a Buyer?
A: When a potential Buyer decides to purchase an item, the same is asked to fill a special Request to Buy Form. The form is then relayed to Seller's e-mail and Seller will find inside Buyer's name, address, e-mail and other contact information, as well as the payment method preferences that Buyer might have. Seller will then have to contact Buyer in person and if both parties agree on payment / shipping conditions, Seller will have to remove the item from the VicMart store by Deleting it using the Delete Item option from Seller Admin menu. From there on it is Seller's responsibility to ship the item properly and it is Buyer's responsibility to send payment to Seller as they have previously agreed between them.
 
Q: There is no suitable Category for my item. What do I do?
A: Just ask VicMart's Admin to create a new Category for your type of item. You can do that from your Seller Admin menu by choosing the Contact VicMart's Admin For a New Category Request option and filing all necessary details in the online form provided.
 
Q: Can I refuse to sell an item to a potential Buyer?
A: Of course - it is your free will, but still it is our opinion that you should have a very good reason in doing so.
 
Q: Do I get a refund of my Account credits if I decide to quit Selling at VicMart?
A: Unfortunately NO. We will not be able to get you a refund of the credits you might have in your VicMart Seller Account and you will have to either use them all to sell other items or just leave them for future use.
 
Q: What if I need other Help about Selling at VicMart?
A: You can always use the Ask VicMart Admin A Question option from your Seller Admin menu.
 
Q: What if I forget my Seller password?
A: You can always get it sent back to you by using the Forgot Password option from our Main page.
