Item description:

See scan - perfect condition. This is really one of a kind postal history cover from the time of the Boxer Rebellion in China - 1901. The cover / postal stationary is scarcely used with USA / US 2 cents stamps and canceled with a red military postmark cachet saying MILITARY POSTAL STATION - CHINA and dated 7th March 1901. The cover is additionally canceled with the German Military Post Office FPO cachet K.D. FELD-POSTSTATION No.2 and then redirected to its destination in Wesel, Germany. This is the first time I see such a scarce postal usage and franking of an American cover from abroad. During that time there was a rather small number of US troops in chine with the International forces that entered China in order to stop the fights. Extremely scarce postal history item and true collector piece both to Chinese, American and German collectors
