Item description:

See scan - perfect condition. This is a nice and rare Edwardian era piece of antique jewelry / jewellery. The 18 karat solid gold bracelet is masterly crafted in a twisted wire like chain with a centerpiece having a rare and important 1.5 carat deep purple pink sapphire surrounded by 16 old mine cut diamonds. The bracelet is a nice and heavy piece weighing probably around 20-25 grams of gold. At the clasp there is a maker's mark which under magnification shows a perfect V and A interlacing cyphers that we belive stand for the famous Van Cleef & Arpels firm during the turn of the century or early 20th Edwardian period. It is a fantastic and marvelous antique jewelry / jewellery collector master jewel and one of the rare and important of that era gold and sapphire bracelets.
