See scan - stunningly perfect condition. This is an extremely rare and scarce Bulgarian Royal 1st ever Army type Royal Guard officer / General type parade cap / hat. The piece is the first type to be worn by the newly established Bulgarian Army after the freedom of the country from the Ottoman Turkish Empire in 1879 and resembles pretty much the Imperial Russian types. The hat itself is perfectly crafted and has a scarce Princely / King Batenberg I type Coat of Arms / Crest clasp attached to front. There are absolutely no holes or other damages and such a piece in this quality is almost one of a kind to come out for sale. This type was worn also during the Bulgarian Serbia War in 1885 and up until 1887. Absolutely rare militaria / military collector piece and one of the rarest Bulgarian uniform accessories and uniforms in general. Same type of cap was worn by the King himself.
