Item description:

See scan – perfect condition. This is a very scarce real photo postcard sent from the Central Staff of the Imperial German aviation / Airplane Group during the days of WWI. The photo at front shows Bulgarian pilot officers with their German allies. Scarce pioneer aviation item. Back of the photo image postcard bears the scarce military cachet of the Staff of the German Aviation Group. At front one can see some of the most famous Bulgarian Royal pilot aces like Lt. Balan – the first on the left. Balan becomes one of the Chief Commanders of Bulgarian Royal Aviation. At the center of the photo is Colonel Mustakov. Scarce postal history and aviation history item.
